Second Chance Christmas, my latest Christmas romance set in my town of Missoula, Montana, hits the shelves on November 27, 2017!
This book has a new twist. I’ve upped the intrigue. Not only do Reese and Findlay need to find their way to each other, but they need to figure out who is framing her. I’ve dug into my tech background and enlisted my friend, Dave, to provide realistic Java code for the book.
The story also draws on elements unique to Montana and Missoula. The football rivalry between the University of Montana (Missoula) Grizzlies and the Montana State University (Bozeman) Bobcats reaches a fever pitch during the annual “Brawl of the Wild.” Interstate 90 connects the two cities and when Findlay laments about the trophy going down the highway, she’s speaking literally.
I was talking with a writing coaching client the other day. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and was having problems understanding the space and culture of Montana. It was only when I pointed out that its the fourth largest state, but only hit a population of one million people a few years ago that she got it. In fact, I recently read a statistic that there are three cows for every person in the state.
Enjoy a little bit of Montana culture from the comfort of your easy chair. Second Chance Christmas comes out November 27, 2017.
